On December 30, we resubmitted our permit proposal to the Albemarle county planner for review. Our design team answered their questions and provided the necessary information to help the county planners make a recommendation to the County Planning Commission. This is part of the normal process in obtaining a special use permit. We expect their reply to come by the end of February. Our hope is that our project will be recommended to the Planning Commission and the public meeting will be scheduled by  April. We will keep you updated on this process.In the meantime,  we encourage Albemarle county residents  to write letters to the planning commission and board of supervisors during this time period to keep the project fresh in their minds. Meanwhile we are busy lobbying our public officials by sharing our exciting project.
