Kadmon McCord
Kadmon (they/them/theirs) is extremely excited to be working at CBI Forest School again for their third year!
They studied at James Madison University to earn their Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies with a minor in Elementary Education, followed by their Master’s in the Art of Teaching with a focus on Elementary Education. They spent their first year teaching in Charlottesville City Schools and learned a lot about teaching in the elementary classroom and focusing on reading education before deciding to come to the CBI Forest School.
Kadmon has been a member of CBI since they went to preschool there themself, has been teaching in the CBI religious school since they were in the 8th grade, and has worked as a camp counselor with Camp CBI since their sophomore year of high school!
This is what inspired them to be a teacher in the first place, and they are glad to continue teaching and learning with CBI students this year.
